Essential Oils for Back Pain Testimonial

I received this testimonial and just wanted to share the power of essential oils.

“I’ve had a fractured L4 vertebrae which was verified by a doctor 20 years ago and aches frequently. During a snowstorm this winter my back was aching and the roads were closed, I was out of ibuprofen. I was doing my best to continue the stretches recommended by the doctor to alleviate the pain…for 3 hours. I’m sure the weather did not help but after 3 hours of stretching, tossing and turning I went back to the medicine cabinet to find anything that would provide some relief. I found Wintergreen essential oil and massaged 4 drops into my lower back, waited 5 minutes and did it again. Within ten minutes I felt complete and total relief! The pain was gone! I couldn’t believe it, the pain was really gone and I was able to finally fall asleep. What's interesting is this was a couple months ago and the pain has not returned.”

“Now if I feel a little twinge from the old injury after working I put a couple drops on and it works. Thanks so much for recommending!” - Anonymous Real Person

Let me say, I only recommend using pain relieving essential oils after strenuous activity. You might cause damage if you overdo it and can’t feel what your body is telling you.

Some other essential oils that may help alleviate pain or inflammation are:

Please dilute as needed with a carrier oil of your choice. Some oils feel stronger than others.

  • ex. 1 Tablespoon of carrier oil plus 4-5 drops of essential oil.

There are also some wonderful blends available such as Pain Ease, Relieve Me, and Joint Support. I personally love the Peppermint Roll On and the Muscle Soothe Roll On.

If you prefer a lotion there is Tohi Complete Relief Tension and Muscle Rub.

I hope these make you feel better!
